Mike Thalassitis, 26, was found hanged in a park in Enfield, north London, in March.

His CTB and many others of similarly 'attractive' and 'masculine' men goes to show that having these traits doesn't always equal having a happy life (although I'm happy to admit it helps, as someone who is probably slightly above average looks-wise)

I feel like this is in response to a recent thread which could be interpreted as a sort of inverse of the same topic.

But you're right, which is why I don't understand the necessity in titling a thread this way, clearly "alpha" is meant to mean privileged in some way, and so it's just a "I'm the best off and I bleed too" nonsensical approach to starting a discussion.

OP..just tell us why you're suffering and leave the reasons why you're not, out of it.
It comes across like you're taking some bizarre offense to people who suffer without the privileges and benefits you may have and so you're bringing them up in a way that paints a misleading and manipulative picture, it's insulting and dismissive of those who are here for the very reason of-well I guess in this case, not being an "alpha male" (I literally want to shoot myself immediately after having to utilize this terminology).

Someone else posted a very similar thread a few hours ago and then promptly deleted it, I wrote out an entire response but I don't feel like doing that again.
Fucking exhausting.
I only ever see this happen with a specific subset of people about a particular topic that crops up on SS now and again.

So should I join in?
Next time I see a thread about some poor soul with a terminal illness asking about N, begging for compassion and ruminating on the fact that if they had been healthy, their life would be worth living, I'm going to *gasp* and get my panties in a twist to the point I make a thread titled "Anyone here physically healthy & NOT terminally ill, but still want to CTB?"

What the hell is the point to this?
There's plenty of sympathy to go around for a myriad of different problems, this is totally unnecessary.

I'm in no way an alpha because I don't like being in charge, or relied on. Definitely a sigma though (aka lone wolf - self reliant).

Perhaps I am biased by the fact that he hanged himself but there is something subtly unhappy about his countenance. He must have had been hiding how he actually felt for very long.
