Yes, it gets you closer to the point of passing out so the ligature doesn't have to do as much. It helps a decent amount.

That's not how it works, it's not an 'instant' method, you can still back out, hyperventilating just adds to the quickness. Just like more pressure on the noose would.

Tried hanging yes, but for some odd reason, I didn't do it right, so I'm still here...I got very close to passing out after hyperventilating in a squatting position for 30-40 seconds and then standing up quickly and blowing on my thumb. If I had hyperventilated for a minute I'm pretty sure I would have passed out.
But doing this with a rope around your neck would be tricky, because the placement of the rope is very important.
If you could make sure the rope is in the right position, it seems like a good method to me.

Do you mind being more specific? I'm trying to gather as much info as I can. Was it full suspension? How digd it feel?
The line through their name means they're no longer a member. Could be a few reasons for that.
