Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Anyone else purposely not return a person’s smile?

I do it because I don't view smiles positively. I view smiles as jeers. Apes or chimps don't like smiles either. I like looking at a smiling person with a blank expression until their smile falters and disappears.
But seriously though, I can't fake a smile even if I want to. A lot of childhood bullying from buckteeth (including even from my parents) made me very self-conscious to the point where I legit cannot smile even if I force myself to. It's either a straight face or all the way to a guffaw if something is genuinely funny. So yeah most of the time I too end up with the blank expression in response to smiles, even though in my case it ain't on purpose.
There was a song called Smiling Faces Sometimes from 1971 by a vocal group called The Undisputed Truth. Has a great dark vibe. Worth checking out on Youtube. Got up to #3 on the US pop chart.
Your brain actually does react well to you smiling as well as others in body language. The blank face is seen as negative, even in infants that can't speak yet.

I'm no expert but I've been learning a bit about this. Apparently the brain can tell the difference between a tense forced smile and a authentic reaction. So if you strain to smile it would be less comfortable.
But nothing beats authentic smiling by you and received in a social interaction. Even by yourself. If you laugh or smile on your own it does hype the mind in a way.

Wrong view of smiles. Smiles, even in monkeys = no threat
Smiles mean warmth, welcome and joy. We smile when something makes us happy, when someone looks attractive to us or when we feel welcoming in general.
I you're looking for a relationship I would highly recommend not staring at them with a blank expression, the only people you're going to attract doing that are sociopaths.
I try my best to smile at people whenever I can, I don't need to be happy but genuinely appreciate seeing other human beings and realizing that we all need and cherish warmth from others, and it really makes things better for everyone (whenever I'm able to pull it off).

nope because here everyone wears facemasks, i personally love the masks. im never going to stop wearing it even after this pandemics ends lol. Makes me feel annonymous and dont have to care how my face or beard looks and can just see other people as people.
its better this way imo plus it does stop germs and other peoples breathe etc despite what anti mask nutjobs believe.

One 2013 studyTrusted Source looked at how masks could help people with the seasonal flu limit spreading it when they exhale droplets containing the virus. Overall, researchers found masks led to a more than threefold reduction in how much virus people sprayed into the air.
Another studyTrusted Source, analyzing data from thousands of Japanese schoolchildren, found that "vaccination and wearing a mask reduced the likelihood of developing seasonal influenza."

The masks aren't worn to stop you catching anything. They're worn to stop you spreading the virus to others if you have it.
Not sure how you deduced their immune system is weak. They never said anything about getting sick themselves. It's like you read a different post in your head.

That's not what they said. They added that as an addon to their original point which is that it makes them feel anonymous. Don't pretend you can't read. Honestly, read it back and tell me that again. I think you actually are being dense on purpose to push buttons. Won't work with me.
No wonder you can't hold down a relationship. You're ignorant, self righteous and have zero decorum. But that's someone elses fault right?

You really have to wonder... 'Smart No More'? Perhaps 'Never Been Smart'? Another authoritarian bootlicker that 'trusts the Science' and will get us into a nightmare dystopia down the line.
I understand that having a micropenis is horrible but people like you that went along with the covid farce made ME suicidal, so we have an impasse. Your behavior is enabling totalitarianism, so nothing is off the table.
Though I understand that getting a warning was justified, your choice of words was equally insulting. "Science denying nutjobs' isn't insensitive? It's obvious who escalated the discussion first.

I don't think this forum censors alternative perspectives on 'covid', so tough luck.
Basically nobody died with that bullshit lol. I was incredibly disappointed with the supposed pandemic until I understood that it was just a way to test how people react to a police state that is "scientifically justified".
It´s the best thing to do and I apologize for insulting you although I know you´ll never apologize for insulting us, the dissidents. What I said about you was very cruel and I hope you didn´t get too hurt by this stranger´s words. Good luck.
