It seems a lot of people are waiting for the holiday season to be over, I presume, out of consideration for family. I've been so withdrawn and out of it I haven't even gotten anyone any presents. I usually LOVE giving presents. I feel like a walking ghost - it's hard to be present.

I really don't know when I'll go.

Ideally before my 22nd birthday so within a few months but I still don't have any real method or anything planned out and I want it to be peaceful.

I have set days like this in the past that sadly weren't it so I know what it feels like to me.
It made me super anxious, nervous and more withdrawn that usual in the few weeks before I was supposed to go.

Got super paranoid about anyone catching on to my plans and getting me thrown in a psych ward again (did end up happening but for a different reason.)

There is a statistical link between suicide and holidays actually. It is very intriguing nevertheless. In my case, I'm waiting until the 2nd of January, mainly because of my family and the extremely strong pot my friends got for our New Years party. I want to get a nice high before I go lmao.

I advise everyone here to do a bit of research before proceeding with a plan. It is crucial to find a method you are comfortable with. It is also important to remember that you are in control of your life, therefore you can always turn back. Lastly, may peace find those who need it :)
