I feel your pain, i used to hate the forced holiday get togethers, thankfully they dont happen anymore due to the fact that our family has had a massive falling out. I still have to live with my narcassistic mother though which is shit.

Guys the nephew of my stepfather and his girl were here .i asked my mother to politely ask them to exit the home in order to pass to the bathroom cause i wasnt in mood /in severe pain /unwashed for days to see anyone .she made a mess and let me wait for yours till they left .im feeling drained .a lot .they were here for hours .should i come out with my butthole out so they just mind going to the yard? Yes, people are exhausting to me, I am never in the mood or have any energy to be around others. My relatives just talk about boring things that I have no interest in. I dislike physically talking. I cannot ever feel relaxed around others, and I need to have my own space. People easily irritate me. I haven't had any proper friends for years and I am glad about that, as I struggle with the commitment involved in maintaining friendships. It is the way I have always been really, it is my personality. In general I just think people are disappointing.

In my case, I try to be social, but I feel that it exhausts me too much and I get to the point of not wanting to communicate with anyone and feel annoyed with people, since I am not good or witty in conversations, but I have the need not to bore people and that just overwhelms me more because I am left with nothing to say in no time, but I always end up trying to socialize again.

At the risk of sounding pedantic, what you are describing is asocial behavior not anti-social.

While many people commonly use "anti-social" to describe being asocial, they are actually different.

Anti-social is usually someone with tendency for engaging in activities against society e.g. crime, vandalism, thuggery etc

Whereas what you are describing is actually asocial i.e. someone who prefers to stay away from society but doesn't actually wish to harm society in any way.

Before I used to call myself anti social all the time, but I realized that was not the case because I am a person who strictly abides by the rules and laws, so I am actually asocial, but I know that many people refer to being an asocial person when they use the word anti social

I hate how people always favor extroverts, and how everyone will continue to pressure me to be more sociable until the end of time. I can't take it anymore--I can't take their stupid societal rituals that have no conceivable purpose, I'm tired of not understanding that people don't always mean what they say, and I'm exhausted from the amount of energy required to think of some kind of acceptable response. I only enjoy talking to strangers on the internet, and I'd be more than ecstatic if I never had to see another human being in the flesh again.

I was diagnosed several years ago With Anti-Social-Personality-Disorder(The 21st century word for Psychopath!) and my PTSD came from the Army! I Don't commit Vandalism or Thuggery (Whatever that is?) But l do have a extensive collection of Ears, there's probably atleast 500ish in the jar! And another jar full of tongues, and a third jar full of D..Ks ah you don't wanna know about that!(Do You?) I never talk. Since I experience nothing positive I have nothing to contribute. I'm practically mute. When I used to go with my parents to my ancient grandma's who couldn't see for happy hour she would ask if I was in the room. It was depressing. I didn't think hard about it then, but now I think it's so bad.

I think this not very funny. I have read some men here in this forum who suffer a lot because of this condition. To write something like that can be really hurtful to them.

Severely, by definition. I'm both asocial, and antisocial. I'm trying my best to quell thoughts of hurting people, and I've been successful for about a couple of weeks or so. Ironically, I hate feeling lonely. But it's that, or interacting with people who will hurt me eventually.

I have nothing to say to normal people. People only want me around when I can help them somehow. My life is at a stage where I can barely help myself so, not many people are knocking on my door these days. I guess I've learned that being social isn't for me. If I was honest, I'd say I was never good at being social.

They say you learn social skills from being socialised between the ages of 2 and 4. I guess I just missed that. Now, I'm happy to be left alone so long as I have everything I need.
