  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

I'm too slow to get out of my bed, too slow to take a shower, too slow to brush my teeth, the list goes on. I think the main reason for these in my case is that my conscious tend to be "hijacked by my own mind". Like, when I start to brush my teeth, and then I space out, turn out to be a prisoner of my own thoughts, and without realizing I repeat the same movements over and over again.

This is so annoying, as I trying hard to be consistent and "active" but it's a lot harder when I waste hours of my day because of this. Any tips?

i wish i had tips for you but all i can offer is i sort of relate.

although your problem sounds more like during the task not switching tasks, so idk how much that would be helpful.

what about a timer? then the noise of it going off can remind you/"pull you back"?

Someone wrote about a similar topic (see below) and I responded. Maybe it will be helpful, or at least you can know you're not alone. I think it can happen not just with autism but with other neurodivergent categories (e.g. ADHD) as well.

i'm not too slow at any task, except showering. my room is my safe haven, everything else feels messy and foreign, so I don't spend too much time outside my room. while you shouldn't make your home a filthy mess, consider making those tedious tasks less appealing. i.e, if you shower, it has to be with cold water. or make the important tasks more appealing. i.e, if I get productive I can have my favorite drink. these are just some ideas

Sounds like adhd or ptbd. I think it could help to know the reason for your problems because then you can find a strategie against it.

I only know the feeling of having less energy to do all these things. At the moment I try to find out what's the reason of my low energy. I am working with my inner child, that helps a lot.

Maybe you can try some strategies from adhd people or of trauma therapy.
