i am a Male Migraine Sufferer , 30 years of age living in India , i had my first migraine attack when i was 5 years old . most days i wake up with migraine , i manage my migraine with a medicine named Migranil (it contains Caffeine and Ergotamine) very effective in my case , ) i do not take any preventive medicines , along with regular migraine , i suffer from atleast 5 or more mental / psychiatric conditions :- depression , form of ocd , extreme anxiety disorders etc etc

Read in a medical article somewhere that Migraine is uncommon in Men , And Men with Migraines are at higher higher risk of developing anxiety disorders

Magnesium. I had a really, really bad migraine from early childhood to adulthood until I started using magnesium. I probably had the worst migraine ever known to mankind, awful aura visions, all that damn green/magenta shit, awful headache, dizziness etc., couldn't take light at all, to being okay. It was like being born without limbs to growing limbs and winning in Olympics.

Also, if you are depressed you can need up to twice as much magnesium as most people.

Not a male, but a migraine sufferer. With your migraine meds, do you still get migraines?
Magnesium is a good supplement and 1x month auto injectors aimovig and ajovy stopped my migraines entirely.
Best wishes to you

Male migraine person here. Been having it since around puberty or so. Not even falling asleep helps, I'll wake up with it still. I don't take meds (except antibiotic). They don't seem to help. Try to find and avoid your triggers.
