Anybody here homeless? Not like "I could be," or "one day I will be".... like you're actually homeless now. I have been off and on for the last year. Just wanted to know if anyone else is at rock bottom with life.

The car mostly. I don't feel safe in shelters, and I don't have many social contacts so I can't couch surf anymore. You should check out reddit homeless sub for some tips when it comes time for you. There's some places in public you can sleep without getting hassled but it depends where you live.

I'm living in my tiny house which I owe the credit cards $10k for, out of the 40k total I owe them. The cold is kicking me into my van towards warmer areas. So I'll be either home-free or homeless soon, depending on my perspective. No job or desire to get one. My passion/ possible path of service seems unwanted by others. @Hunter I'm a big Elliott Smith fan, recently binged on his music one night which I swore I'd never listen to, until I was ready to ctb, it's been many years. I'm at rock bottom.

I'm sorry to hear this, it's winter so not a lot of warmer options. I am would work but I can't anymore and would probably just get fired if I tried. One of the many reasons to die in an unforgiving world.

i'm not homeless right now but have been several times in my life.
i don't know your situation, so please take the following as 'take it or leave it' -
if you're here b/c of your current homeless situation and thinking about suicide because things seem so terrible i offer the following:
every time i've been homeless (3 times over the past 12 years) i've been able to achieve a much better situation, including stable housing, job, and more, given time and effort. there are so many resources out there, even if they take time/patience/perseverance to get them. if your current situation is why you're here i recommend giving it some time so that you have the chance to improve your situation.
i promise i'm not trying to judge or to tell you how to live (or not live) your life; only offer my limited experience.
best to you.

Homelessness is not the core reason I'm leaving. Remember, some problems can't actually be solved despite the feel good maxims people say. Good for you that you aren't homeless anymore though.

This car living is new for me. But I sleep out of my car and hang out in public spaces to charge my devices, etc. I am not looking to "get back on my feet," I'm just trying to make it to the end of January so I can ctb.

Oh… Gotcha. I'm just waiting till the end of January because a family birthday is in the beginning… And I'm trying not to ruin this month for them forever. Having said that though, I may not be able to make it until then.

Yea my house does not feel like a home. In all seriousness I slept in my car for a few months just because I didn't feel like getting an house and wanted to save up some case. I had the money etc.

I wish I could help you somehow since I don't need money anymore but I don't have much. Just valuables that I don't have time to sell. Can you start a go fund page? I can help by that as much as I can.
Here some people have offered a housing in USA.

That's a really sweet offer… I would have a hard time disclosing my location because I'd always be afraid that there is some anti-suicide person hiding out and waiting to call the cops on me. That might sound stupid, but I've seen comments before from other users saying that they felt guilty in the middle of someone's attempt and wanted to call the cops.

I get you in everything. If you have decided to ctb and have no hope anymore for things to get better then it can feel pointless like everything else in life.
But every single person in this world have gotten financial help from others. So it's not a shame for sure. Since life is unfair I believe that those who have too much should share with others who have too little. They get happy themselves from it too. I get happier when giving than receiving too. Those who get help they give others help some day in something and that way world change for better what everyone wants.
Could you ask help from church. They can pay for rent in many countries. People give so much money there (where I live we have to pay taxes to be in any Christian church though hardly anyone ever goes to church) that they want to be used for that purpose. Also every city have wellfare systems.
People talk as prolifers for many reasons even they would ctb themselves. Fear that God will tell them in afterlife that they should have tried to help out someone to live (not to die at least) because he/she would have made world better for many. Religion and media teach the same that we have to almost like force people to live though nobody knows the reason why. So also in here people who will ctb themselves have kind of talked like prolifers to others to make sure they don't affect someones decision on it that nobody wants to do.
But I get the fear. I haven't thought about it enough. People who want attention and want to be praised by others may tell about people who are going to ctb to cops etc. to make themselves feel important and good. Even those who may do the same one day.
Also I have read about police trainings when figuring the cause of death. They read and use the material in some euthanasia sites to teach cops to know when it was suicide and when accident. Though if deceased had no insurance then legally it doesn't matter. But they want to always blame someone.
Cops can also locate anyone's device here even with prepaid card. But people who made this site have registered it to some country so that cops don't have legislation for example in USA to locate person who says here they are going to ctb in USA. The creator of this site have given interview to magazine too. So I wouldn't worry about cops with legislation as its now. But you are right. Only way to get in trouble is to give personal info here. One person who searched ctb partner was even blackmailed by some greep who she thought was nice and she had trusted him.
So what you said is something that those who seek partners should know also. Also nothing can stop cops to write here. If they have name and/or address in their country they can intervene.
Though I really hope that that resource in police is used to find pedophiles.
