• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Anyone ever had one of these? I'm on my fourth course of antibiotics (second strand of antibiotic) and I am in more pain than ever. It feels like the bacteria is eating away at my testes, urethra and bladder wall. I already have a severe neuropathic pain problem so this was very unwelcomed. It reached fever/vomitting levels once so far and it feels like it's heading that direction again.

Has anyone suggested some IV antibiotics?

Nope not yet. I haven't been hospitalised. This fourth course seems to be helping a little bit
Your pain levels and symptoms like fever/vomitting are an indicator that you probably need more intensive treatment. Your body is trying to tell you something's wrong,so it might be worth listening. It's not a suffering competition. Discuss it with your Doctor. They are there to help you afterall.

...are you certain it is not resistant to the specific one you have chosen? There are several categories of antibiotics for various infections; they are not supposed to be used as a universal cure (especially not for more than 15 days).
Cefalexin, ciprofloxacin or co-amoxiclav should help, I presume; if not, a laboratory blood analysis (blood test) may be required to determine the appropriate one.
