• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

In some older posts people claimed, that antiacids are useless or even counterproductive. In the newest version of PPH antiacids are recommended.
They recommend H2 antagonists (cimetidine) or proton pump inhibitors (esomeptizole, omeprazole). I can't get H2 antagonists in my country and since you need a prescription for them I don't want to get in trouble buying them overseas.

I bought omeprazol. Will that do the job? Are there other useful otc antiacids?

I ate not too much in the last 3 months, just cooked or processed foods, no vegetables or fruits. Could that lead to an increased amount of stomach acids? Should I take antiacids beforehand?
