Yes, the withdrawal symptoms are the worst once your body gets used to it. It's as if the rug is being pulled underneath you. It's one of the worst feelings.

True story!!
Although thanks to bupropion I'm managing to have a normal life and my dad is finally not suffering because of me anymore.

Yet, I don't know how much longer I'll be on this planet!!

How did you know it was working? I'm not entirely sure I've been more functional because of the drugs or not.

I suffer from bipolar disorder and used to have about 5 DOWNS a week.
2 weeks after having been taking bupropion, I started to have only 1 o or 2 downs a week.
Now, I barely have them but I'm very anxious and nervous about the things I have to do because I put lots of pressure on myself.

Also, I have to say that quetiapine is helping me a lot too because I can sleep and I have always had trouble with that.
Sleeping properly is very important. It literally changes your mood and decides whether you'll have energy or not during the next day.

Did the Bupropion cause you side effects in the beginning?
I read more anxiety at first id common. I wonder if it would help with my OCD as well. I have no health insurance so I need to figure out another way.

Ummm maybe the anxiety was a big higher!
I mean, I started having more energy and was kinda more anxious and nervous all the time.

My problem was that I just got depressed and didn't want to leave my bed but now that doesn't happen to me anymore.

Apart from that, I think I didn't have any other side effects. Oh! I eat less than before now! (which is really cool because I just ate too much and couldn't stop gaining pounds lol)

That sounds good and bad lol. I'm a mix of constant hyper and not being able to move for days. I need to figure out something that works without driving me even more crazy.

At least there are some people who are helped by antidepressants. To me taking various antidepressants was a horrible and traumatic experience. So many side effects. Not worth it. I regret for even touching antidepressants.

I honestly believe anti-depressants just numb the pain, they don't make it go away.
