I ran into a friend from middle school on a dating site and we are chatting. But he would remember a vibrant and happy me not this fucked up person I became several years ago. I mainly troll the dating site because I like messing with the scammers, lol. He happened to hit the "like" button and here I am. If nothing else it is nice chatting with him. Still hating life, but sometimes the little things bring a glimmer of hope, even if it is brief. How would I tell him of my severe issues and significant losses, plus the fact I cannot even go to the letterbox without anxiety. Luckily he currently lives in another town about 40mins away, so I shouldn't have to plan on meeting up with him very often at first, lol
I've had a terrible week and the physical pain on top of the mental anguish has really made me want to die even more.
So I guess this was one of those unexpected surprises to at least brighten me for a little bit.
Cheers

HI! It is just outstanding that you found a friend from your school days. Reading your post truly made me very happy for you and brightened my day also. I also have chronic 24/7 pain, from a car crash, and to have someone to not only converse with but know is just so heartwarming.

Please have an outstanding weekend filled with lovely weather, your friend and SS.

Again, thank you, as you made my week and weekend so much sweeter knowing that a fellow member and a good friend has a wonderful experience, just so darn nice.

Thank you! It is nice catching up 4 sure. I'm sorry to hear about your pain. Mine is pretty bad too.
It has definitely given me a glimmer of hope but I am thinking it may not go anywhere. I'm already like I literally look like I'm dead. My skin hasn't felt the sun much at all. I need a hair cut. I need a lot. I have really bad agorophobia, maybe I can push myself out of the house to see him. I need some xanax though lol

I am pleased for you that there is something positive in your life. I'm sorry that you suffer so much, to me it is horrifying how our bodies are capable of torturing us with health problems. I wish you the best.
