• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So you don't even failed. Even assuming you took 3g, looks like you have taken to the hospital quickly. It's seems you didn't even drink the alcohol

There are a fairly large number of older cases, yes. Probably not many here on SaSu, but generally - even with tricyclic AD's - self poisonings are rarely successful, but can have nasty complications.

Because of these complications (and probably because enough patients died), amitriptyline isn't prescribed as first line AD anymore and usually isn't prescribed to patients who have tried to CBT in the past.

You can find studies that list either a small number of patients who tried to self-poison with amitriptyline and their individual outcomes. Or you look for studies that list the percentage of successful/failed poisonings.

Try the BMJ for example. Or Journal of Emergency Medicine and a few key words.

Like the one below - A study of 250 patients.
I assume that this includes many unplanned, accidental poisonings though (especially those in children).
