That's scary.. I am glad every trans friend I have who lives in USA is in CA at least, as I feel that's the best state to be trans in AFAIK.

DIY HRT is probably the safest option right now imo, but definitely do your own research before trying it to be absolutely safe!
Personally I stay secret about being trans irl, socially it sucks but its unfortunately just not very safe if you're clockable or don't "pass".

What bothers me is that people aren't really taking into account how DIY HRT might be affected by a ban too.

If HRT is illegal, there's a chance the government might crack down on people buying gray market HRT to try to frame trans people as criminals and further bolster their attempts at genociding us.

Not to mention they might create "bounties" for trans people on HRT ("the person will be investigated if reported"), and as much as doctors like to claim they care about healing above all else, plenty of doctors I've been to would rat me out.
