Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Hello. I feel like this belongs in the recovery thread.

Anyways, my life has absolutely sucked. I was given meds, therapy, and even admitted to a hospital where they gave me shock therapy. I was ok for a while, but then these feelings of worthlessness and anger came back and it makes me sad.

Have decided to do a few things. I'm going all-out.

I'll do fasting for several weeks (No food).

I will start looking for a job very soon after the holidays.

I'll learn a few skills that I should have known way before in life.

I also started investing in the US stock market. The whole market took a big hit today, but I'll keep going. I'm not gambling, but investing is still risky, but I hate my life anyways, so here I go.

This is my path to recovery, and honestly, if my life still sucks after 10-15 years, I'm going to take it as a sign and I'll CTB. NO EXCUSES.

What about you?

Fasting completely to lose weight is not a good idea and you'll mess it up very quickly which will discourage you. You won't have energy to do anything else either. Even if you managed it you'd probably gain it all back when you start eating again. Maybe try something like intermittent fasting instead? Exercise + switching to a very healthy diet and cutting out a couple hundred calories should be enough
