After reading some posts does your heart beat faster and you begin to shake?

Mine does.

For the past month I have been reading different posts as part of my journey to CTB. Every so often I read something that will just make me shake. It's not that it is graphic or disturbing. Quite the opposite, I find there is a really a warming welcoming and caring side to this forum.

What will make me shake is that I see a little sliver of information that is like a piece of a puzzle that fits clearly into my own journey toward CTB. I incorporate it into my plans, and suddenly, I am one stop closer to getting on the bus. Or another way, its like having a lock on the bus door, and that piece of information is a tumbler that falls into the place that may open the door to me.

So this is a general thank you to the people in this forum. You are all a great help.

Sometimes reading posts can distract me from my own suffering. The post making peace with dying is one that I often reread, it is just so well written. Reading about death can be comforting as non existence is what I want the most.

Goodbye threads are often distressing and sad to read. Despite being here to reach the same ultimate goal, it always hits so incredibly hard to know that last post here is someone's life soon coming to an end - but also their suffering and despair that brought them to this choice - ceasing to be.
