• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Are antiemetics for N necessary? Can you go without? Also what would you recommend to disguise the taste?

AEs are more so a precaution, they are not necessary. It is not like SN where you're basically guaranteed to vomit even if you take an AE, even though you don't necessarily need an AE for that method either.

If you have a weak stomach or a pre-existing condition that makes you nauseous it is more necessary. This seems to be the main reason Dignitas and other MAID places suggest an AE. AEs also speed up gastric emptying, making it faster.

There was a paper done showing that out of 60 cases, 20 of them did not take an AE, and only two of them vomited. All of which still CTB.

It is wise to take an AE regardless unless they don't agree with you.

How do you get AE in germany?
I've seen some online "pharmacies" do prescribe it, at least that's what it looked like, not sure if its still possible, or ever was to obtain via that route, but it looks like the easiest way. otherwise you might try to get it prescribed by a doc

AE is recommended, but not absolutely necessary. I'm personally going with a 20mg stat dose of meto 40 min beforehand
