Hi there,

Just my 2 cents but I would go to a gp (in aus most won't write a script for benzo on first appt.) say you are suffering panic/anxiety attacks but otherwise no depression.

They will most likely prescribe an anti depressant but persist and go back after 28 days and say you have felt no effect and are really after something to stop the panic attacks at which point ur in a good spot to get Valium etc.

Otherwise just travel to Vietnam and walk up to any roadside pharmacy and ask for Valium and they ask how many 10mg tablets you would like

That was incredibly easy lol. I actually went to two urgent cares and they both prescribed me clonazepam, first one gave .25 mg x 14 (3.5 mg total), and I felt like it wouldn't be close to enough considering the recommendations on here. So I went to a 2nd urgent care and they gave me .5 mg x 10, equaling 5mg total.

No where near as much as I would like but hey, at least it's something! If yall have any questions about how I did it just lmk!

I did get a bunch from my previous doctor during covid, and when I tried to get more recently I (a panic attack) after some discussion they gave me seven. I think it all comes down to if they believe you. They do seem to have clamped down. Personally, I find them to be a double-edged sword - they help but they leave me feeling pretty yucky for 2 or 3 days. So sometimes I just self medicate with a couple shots of vodka instead, which have fewer residual side effects.
