The full medical journal article is behind a paywall so we can't see how much ammonium nitrate was ingested.
It doesn't sound like she took in much though, especially if it was only contaminated ice (more ice than AN).

Just remember:
When this chemical deteriorates it can spontaneously combust. It's probably hard to obtain in powder form.
