I was scouting out a tree to use in partial suspension the other day in my yard , if I don't use a tree I'm gonna use a strong metal in my garage to attach the rope with ..This should hold me , I'm gonna practice first ..

You do have some time on your own then, so you won't be found the first hour or so?

The garage is a more secluded spot, right? With hanging, secluded is always better.

Schopenhauer is spot on with the comment that secluded is always better. You will need at least an hour when no one will interrupt you. Being discovered will bring about a rescue attempt which can turn out really bad.
