• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just want to show you astronomy fanatics out there a super cool game that can be played on a laptop. AND IT'S FREE (developers rely on donations).

SpaceEngine is a 3D astronomy program and game engine developed by the astronomer and programmer Vladimir Romanyuk. It creates a three-dimensional planetarium representing the entire universe from a combination of real astronomical data and scientifically-accurate procedural generation algorithms.

You can cross the event horizon of black holes, find planets by the center of supermassive black holes and watch the "sunset", travel at the speed of light through nebulas, fly down the atmosphere of gas giants, ride on asteroids, explore alien landscapes, basically observe any celestial phenomena. I love playing it during acid trips.

Here's a trailer:
