A Question about bloodflow direction to the brain

I am hopefully asking this question in accordance with site policy.
I need a three word answer.
From which side of the body does blood enter the brain ?

From both sides.

There's two jugular veins and two carotid arteries each on either side of the neck. The jugular veins drain blood from the brain while the carotid arteries pump blood into the brain. It takes less pressure to compress the jugular veins, which is why people who don't apply enough pressure in hanging get the head exploding feeling. Carotid arteries pump blood into the brain while the jugular veins are restricted from draining blood out of the brain, obviously creating a huge pool of blood in the brain.

The carotid arteries are deeper than the jugulars, as well as having thicker walls of smooth muscle and being under higher pressure

A severed carotid artery is a major medical emergency and I think would need to be treated within minutes of it happening due to how large of an artery it is and how close to the heart it is, not to mention the tissue it supplies..

Avoid the trachea. I'd also avoid anything you are contemplating...there are easier, more reliable, and less painful ways, but that's just me.
