I found this site last year, and it seems like a perfect way to safely delay send messages or leave final wishes. But I've never seen it mentioned when the subject comes up.

There's a system in place so nobody would see them if you happen to survive for whatever reason, as long as you can access the site later.

Thoughts?

That's kind of similar to what I plan on doing. I'm doing mine in video form so will upload it to YouTube on schedule but could always take it down if needed

You can send a delayed email. In other words set the date and time you want the message to be sent. I´ve tested it out on Gmail and it works. That´s what I plan to do when I go ahead with it. I will send the message informing the receiver of what has happened and I will delay it by 5 hours. As I will be on my own I need someone to know what has happened incase it goes wrong and I´m unable to move for example.

I was thinking this might be a good alternative to things like delayed gmail, because it's specifically for after death notes. So you don't have the fear of messages being intercepted because of that sort of thing. I've heard there are privacy concerns and talk of dying or suicide might get you flagged and reported by some systems.

I'm not really looking for this kind of idea, myself. But the question comes up a lot and I was trying to add another option to the small list.

Hmm interesting, so certain key words may possibly alert Google in relation to delayed emails? I´ll keep that in mind and write the message avoiding the obvious key words.
