7-hydroxymytraginine is a opioid-like substance and alkaloid found in the kratom plant, often synthetically derived and concentrated to produce legal supplements that cause a high. It is going to be banned in the United States in around a month by directive from the DEA as reccomended by the FDA.
Ive been using it to recover from a spinal fusion surgery, and because I'm a vile waste of air that does nothing other than sleep and get high all day.
Does anyone more medically knowledgeable than me know if, paired with other drugs, 7oh could initiate respiratory depression? It's definitely a cns depressant from what I can tell both from the effects and reading up on it. I don't see any contemporary accounts of overdoses with 7oh but if it's possible to look into before it gets banned it'll be probably worth it.
