hey all,

Found this medical article here detailing how a woman ctb by injecting herself with 2 epipens. Has anyone considered this method/thoughts? It's astonishing to me that apparently this is the only medically documented attempt via this route, yet researching this more suggests epinephrine/epi-pens can be much more lethal than I thought.
Another note is how easily accessible this could be, I have documented allergies and have been hospitalized for anaphylaxis so I could easily ask for a prescription

This has never even occurred to me as a a possibility. I have epi pens for anaphylaxis (never severe enough to kill me unfortunately). Gonna research more. Thank you.

Sounds like it would be a rather terrifying way to go. Purposely putting yourself into an over exaggerated fight-or-flight response.

Also never occurred as a possibility for me either. When I stumbled upon that article I thought wow, too good to be true!!

Ha, the way I view it is 1) I already feel like I'm in fight or flight at baseline anyway, so why not, and 2) Hopefully would go into cardiac arrest and unconscious soon. Based on the circumstances they found the woman in the article's corpse in, sounds like she may have gone pretty quickly.
