10g Amitriptyline, will the xr version work?

I obtained 10g of Amitriptyline retard (which basically is xr). So the agent will be releast slower. Since death with amitriptyline can take up to 20 hours, I wonder if it could take even longer with the xr-version.

Or doesn't the xr-form matter for my purposes? I know that people, who take opiates or opioids that crush them to break the retardation to undo the xr- effects, would that be possible for amitriptyline?

Thank you very much for your answer. To make it sure: Would it work, if I would crush them? What exactly would that look like? Should I try to make powder out of the pills?

In the PPeH it is stated, that you should let the tablets dissolve in water. Since I've got the sr or xr version, do have to mix the crushed tablets with water?

It has got 7 out of ten points for peacefulness in the PPeH, that's peaceful enough for me.

It's not otc in my country and probably not in most countries, since it's an antidepressant. If you're severely depressed and have tried some other medications, as I did, you should be able to get a prescription.

I would say it is relatively painless, but it must be combined with benzos, an anti-emitic and alochol.

Slow release ones are just coated . So takes a while for the stomach to break down. Crushing them into a powder breaks the coating. If you put slow release ones whole in water they won't dissolve properly
