I think you're supposed to test it. I'm not sure about the procedure though. I don't really want to end up on the sofa with fake SN on my nose.

I think theres nitrite testing strips I saw them on amazon but idk if thats the way. Im scared to go through with it anyways cuz it sounds painful ngl

Yes, those are them. They are supposed to be for testing nitrite levels in fish tank water but work for testing your purchased SN as well.

I think there are test strips that you need. Not sure what kind though.

But for sure as others have noted you absolutely need to test it first. Lot of shady dealings with SN I have noticed.

I dont have specifics, but I've seen I here where people bought fake SN, and also many never even recived their packages. So just getting real SN delivered to you seems to be half the battle. You ahead because you received your package. But you really need to test it is what I have learned reading these forums.

Hmm I believe most of them you can reason them out that much that there is no shade in them anymore, but good to stay alert I guess
