Your favorite winter comfort movies?

Well the weather outside is dogshit, and I don't have a fire, so there goes that song lyric. Anyway, which movies/TV shows do you enjoy around this time of year? The winter has a cosy feel, and what I watch now is a little different compared to what I normally would.

And while I know "share the load" is a Brazzers title (probably) and not in the spirit of this thread, it's also featured in Lord of the Rings, which is still my favorite set of movies to watch at the end of the year.

Let's hear your favorites and recommendations. I could use something new to watch.

Narnia's good, I forgot about that. One of my childish guilty pleasures. I like to say "wake up dolly daydream" to people.

 

[Celerity]

Christmas Story is a tradition for my family. It has its cheesy moments, but it's a classic for a reason.

Otherwise, LotR works me as a Christmas-y movie for some reason, maybe because the stark, good vs evil theme.

Not really on topic but I've just watched the first three series of Game of Thrones.

Slaughter mutilation torture rape betrayal infanticide. It's got it all on an epic scale in explicit detail. Gore apenty. Had no idea what I'd been missing. So far the dragons have been cute. But I expect they end up torturing and maiming along with everyone else. I'd still like one though.

The younger Stark girl probably becomes a psychpath.

It's amazing that a human being can create a whole world like this.

Aww!!! I've got no chance of a dragon then. I'll have to make do with a moggy. Maybe he could sprout some little wings though.

Well he wasn't the same after his leg wound. I reckon he was killed off for shock value and to keep us all wondering who'll get the chop next!
