I wanted to share with you guys what i think about society function and why i consider CTB. If you have already seen posts from me, you'll notice that i'm always talking about society's behavior. So, i'll use this post to give you my thoughts more clarified and i wanted to hear what you think.

The Beginning

We live on a way to born, grow up and to get a job. You will, eventually, get a job, and you need experiences and/or competence in some pathways (IT, marketing, etc.) to manage to get to work, even if you don't want to. WE got to work from monday to friday and, in some cases, even on Saturdays, from 07am to 5pm, at least here where i live (work hours may vary but it is always demanding).

The Questioning

Now, hear me out; why does society lock up us in cages (work) and try to get rid of ways to get the key (CTB)? Suicide prevention month and/or ads are made by powerful and rich people, just to make YOU continuing making money for them. Even if you give it a chance, you will need to pay for therapy, which tends to be expensive. Meds create remedies to create a ilusion in your brain to make yourself feel better, but it's not real, you don't feel that way naturally. I know that mental illness exists and needs to be treated with meds, but in some way, it's a loop of fake smiles. We do not choose who we want to be, what we want to do, the way we like to work, etc. We're forced to go on a pathway that makes our lives profitable, even more if you live on a place that isn't fully developed (3rd world countries, for example).

Who are we? We are just numbers, we are not special. We're used by others to be their happiness reason, just to fulfill the unhappiness on their daily routine. I think we should have the right to be full-time happy. People say that happiness is a moment thing, but it is that way because humanity did that to us.

The Feeling

I feel like shit. I'm learning programming language, but not because i like it, but because i need a job. I wanted to be a singer, photographer and/or related, but life doesn't allow you to be what you want to be. Very few people can escape the way life works and actually do what they love to do, like: famous singers, actors/actresses, dancers, etc.

I think dying is the best option i can get, cuz i won't be struggling through life.

The Discussion

So, now, i want to hear from you: what do you think about this? How do you feel?

Yeah, absolutely feel the same. I have actually been lucky enough to do a job I enjoy freelance the past few years but for the hours I put in, the pay is terrible and it's nothing like a 9-5. Try more a 9am-10pm 7 days a week for months to get a project finished and then the worry of finding something else... Yes... I'm a workaholic from choice.

I DO agree that- even in fist world countries, the majority of people end up working their arses off for barely enough to get by on. It does feel like sugar coated slavery.

That said, I don't know what the answer is. The actual concept of money or trade makes a certain amount of sense. We can't all be good at everything. In an ideal world, we ought to be able to make money from the things we are best at and and half way enjoy to pay for the things we can't do ourselves. Trouble is- competition for those plum jobs is very high, so- many of us end up in menial jobs we are overqualified for and detest.

If we go back to living off grid with no money- it will still be bloody hard work. I'm not sure if you are thinking this would be better? Guess I'm curious as to what you think would be a 'model' society?

For me, I guess I do wish there was more equality with regards how much people are paid. I do accept that some jobs require a great deal of training (which obviously costs a lot) and effort to get that good and- ought to be rewarded. Still, certain jobs do seem to be overpaid and others underpaid for what they are.

From my own experience, I do kind of struggle looking at some of the people in managerial roles. (Not all I hasten to add.) I think that quite often, these high ranked jobs pay higher because they involve more responsibility and especially risk which will affect the people they employ and are responsible for. The problem I have is- I have quite often witnessed (what I would consider to be) sociopaths in these roles. So- I kind of doubt it REALLY bothers them if they have to put half their workforce on 4 weeks notice/ refuse them a raise/ dock their pay for sickness. What I TRULY hate is these people do well in this world and are rewarded. THAT I would certainly like to change.

The ideal society would be the one who lets you choose whatever you want to do with your life without the need of fear if it's gonna pay you what you deserve. Don't matter if you're a doctor or a pianist, everybody deserves respect and dignity to live. Life doesn't matter and follows the same path, why would you sacrifice yourself to work on something you don't want?

A job does not tells about your personality, why people keep taking it as an important thing? It's like a tag game.
