Wondering if made SN ice cubes to swallow would work? Small cubes obviously but maybe slightly less salty? Theories?

It's a idea. Will SN freeze? I'm thinking maybe in those temperatures it might lose it's potency, but I'm not sure.

Swallowing the amount required in ice cubes doesn't really sound pleasant... or possible for everyone really. Also of course it'd still be salty. Freeze some soft drink and test if you can still taste it while swallowing it whole. You most likely can. Be careful you don't choke. Also I'm not sure about the physics of the salt not seperating from the water during the freezing process. It might even not freeze at all.

There's also empty gelatin capsules, for medicines. You can buy them empty in packs of 100. The largest ones (size "000") can hold 1g per capsule, so with 25g of nitrite, you'd have to swallow ~25. They are *large* though. I am not sure though the slow release of these (they first have to dissolve in your stomach acid to release their contents) will be pleasant or if it's a problem that no or little water is involved. I wouldn't want to try it out, personally. The slow release will probably hamper the efficency is my guess. Same with ice cubes.

This is just me theorizing. I'm not intersted in SN and this is also not advice.

your best bet is not to stray from protocol. it's written the way it is for a reason. capsules could also cause a time delay etc and potentially fuck things up. follow the pph. no disrespect meant.

It is written "weirdly". No, I read it as SN mixed in water, also. There's no way I'd trust any SN mixture that's been sitting around for even a moderate length of time. Entire issue becomes mute if it's only mixed when ready to use.

I'm kind of intrigued by this mini ice cube idea. Even if the mixture wont freeze on it's own because it's a salt mixture, there is still possibility of joining two "half" cubes together, with the SN placed in a small formed divot in one of the cubes. It wouldn't solve the vomiting issue, but it could solve the taste problem. Someone would have to do some experimentation to see if it could be done. Multiple mini cubes would be best, I believe, with the 25g divided up nearly equally amongst them. Still might be a melting issue, though. It's still an intriguing idea.

Remember that cold water takes longer time to digest than warm water, since your body needs to supply the heat required for digestion. You can look this up yourself. So you'll be putting yourself through more misery than needed. If anything you should pour down boiling hot SN down your throat

going off this, if you choose to test if it will freeze, try to still stick to the protocol amounts. 25g dissolves fully in 50 ml given a few minutes and stirring, I wouldn't want to exceed to called for liquid due to increased vomiting risk.

I love ice lol and thought the taste might be less and prevent gagging .

I've also heard of people mixing it with saline in an enima. I know I wouldn't want to be found like that tho. Also people have put into capsules. But you would have to take 20+ and not sure if that's a better way or not.

Swallowing ice sounds dangerous, solid ice tends to stick to wet fingers or tongue, until it melts, doesn't sound it can go down the throat with out damage.

It's an interesting idea. Would it be possible to swallow them neat though? Like the above member said, ice tends to stick to the tongue. If it needed more water to swallow down, that could dilute it too much. I think people have sometimes failed when they drank too much water.

I also wonder how quickly ice melts in the stomach. I think the ideal hope with this method is that we're dehydrated, so that the small amount of water and SN solution is absorbed quickly into the intestine. If it takes time to melt, maybe that will give the body more time to identify and reject it. I doubt vomiting up ice cubes would be fun.

The 'out of the box' thinking is interesting though.
