Help Without suspension = ctb or ?

I have cut up pillow cases into long pieces of fabric with average thickness. But is it possible to die from ligaturing? With no suspension whatsoever. What are the chances?

Ps. I dont have rope, or a dressing gown cord due to previous suicide attempts and only have this.

Also, can someone guide me on how to actually pass out and find the carotid artery, because I never ever seen to manage it. I heard some people just use their fingers and they are out within 5 seconds, it never works for me. Do you place it under the chin? Or in the middle? Or lower? Please advise me! Kinda desperate x

It takes about 3-5 kg of pressure on the carotid arteries to succeed. So I don't think this would be realistic without suspension. What is it that is putting you off partial suspension?

I tried partial but was unable to find the 'sweet spot' when attempting either. All I can advise is reading through the Partial Suspension section of the below thread, and any other resources. Even if you are not interested in partial suspension, it still has lots of information on ligatures, knots etc so I would still recommend it:

But honestly, I have tried and have given up on that one, so I do think it isn't for everyone.

I feel like hanging is one of the harder ones in that you have to battle survival instinct more then other methods and it has a high rate of failure as it has to be just so.
