People most likely would not care at all. I mean, maybe you'd just get some odd looks, and maybe one pro-lifer will ask if you're alright. Apart from that though, I don't see why things would escalate.

People in public are usually too busy looking at their phones or thinking about themselves to care or notice. It's not illegal to read.

I don't think so. Most people are too self absorbed doing their own thing.

I feel uncomfortable reading anything personal in public due to paranoia of judgement. I'm on Sasu now, but I'm on a train and no one is in my carriage 😅

Probably just imagine that you're a researcher or student doing some study, if they even noticed. Where I live, if you lay down screaming in the street they'd just step over you.

In my street that actually happened and someone intervened - a neighbour. He later started doing forward rolls in the street and the Police were called and carted him off.

I cannot think of a single legal reason why you should get into any trouble for simply reading it.
