Will workers call?

If a phone number is left with a body, will workers that find it call the number, or do other investigative steps first? Speaking from US

If someone finds a body they're going to call 911. Who knows what the police will do after that. They might call the number if you don't have ID.

The workers(paramedics, fire dept), won't touch anything until cleared by the police. Since this will be treated as a homicide first(until it's been decided suicide was the factor of your death), so the investigators will more than likely be the first ones to touch the paper.
