Should I ctb by SN will the police investigate where I got the SN and look into my email and bank statements. Should I delete my account here and clear as much as possible before I ctb? I don't want this forum or my source to be connected to this at all. What are the risks and how do I help mitigate them?

Well, if you paid via wire transfer or similar this info will be accessible for a long time. You can format your electronic devices with a destructing format so they cannot be recovered or destroy them specifically the memory chips that have the data stored on them. Simply deleting won't help much if it is deeply investigated.

How likely it is whether police will investigate or not is difficult to say. Do you have family who could ask for an investigation?

It's possible if they see I ctb'd chemically. If I leave a note in my car where I intend to ctb, will the police take it into evidence without giving it to my family? I am not sure who will find me first given my plan.

Your parents might not get the note (at least not right away) but they'll likely be informed of what you wrote on it. Whether police will check your phone probably varies from country to country but I think it's unlikely unless they'll have a reason to suspect you have been murdered. I'd wipe my devices - not cuz of the police but because I wouldn't want my family to find certain things

I'm not sure what country you are in. Where I live in the UK there will be a Coroner's Inquiry or a Fatal accident Inquiry, depending where in the country the fatality occurred.
These court proceedings would be where all these details would be presented, so if the family were aware of the death they could both be there and, should they wished, have legal representation to question all witnesses.
In the UK there would be a post mortem to establish (or confirm) the cause of death. It's possible in view of the noteriety SN has achieved internationally that some effort may be made to ascertain how you came by the product, I don't really know.

I'm no expert, and I don't know which country you're in, but my best guess would be that it would depend on how much evidence they have outside of the electronics.

I'd imagine that leaving a note explaining your reasons well enough would be enough, but that would also depend on the method used. If its a method which is hard to die from accidentally, I think that would help too.

If your death seems suspicious as in that they suspect that someone murdered you, if you clearly did not die of natural circumstances or of an accident, something illegal might have happened to you, or any crime was commited by someone towards you + if you are a young person, they would investigate the circumstances and your death further and probably try to access your electronic devices for clues and info to solve the case.

Nothing is ever deleted on your computer forever! Any computer guru can easily obtain what's been erased and I assume that's where they will start looking. I don't think this site or your source is liable because I'm sure you had to lie to obtain the sn. If you make it out here and everything goes well, don't worry about the rest. I'm sure your family will have questions and maybe leaving a note would be helpful to them. I can't promise they won't look for someone or something to blame. What families need to understand, it's totally the person's choice, no matter what route they took. Hopefully that helps, best wishes to you!
