So it's probably been a good 6-8 months. I've tried TMS from July-August, one treatment daily for 45 days. I missed maybe like 2 or 3 due to lack of sleep? (I work nights so I needed at least 4 hours.)

I'm not sure if I'd say I'm in a better place but.. I'm not constantly thinking I'm better off dead. I guess that's an improvement?

Also I'm a glutton for punishment and started nursing school.......... that's another story altogether.

I still have my exit in case things go south but I guess... right now nursing school gives me a little purpose? I'm not walking on an empty trail waiting for... something to finally take me out (be it myself or something else).

I'll be around. School is chaotic.

If I remember correctly there are a series of videos by a professor named "Fink" about anatomy and physiology on Youtube.

If you get a teacher who is boring, Fink was very animated.

If it is possible to add an activity like tennis or swimming to your routine, it might act as a sort of counterweight to your school schedule such that it might be less likely that your focus would narrow in a negative direction.

I had TMS treatments exactly a year ago and the only change I can attribute to it is a better impulse control.

I need to add something! You're right

I think mine had a delayed reaction. But also I'm on a different round of meds so.. one of them is working for now
