Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to matter how much time passes. Though some say that modern PTSD therapies can be effective if you find the right one. I'm currently trying EMDR though it's too soon to comment on it.

so many flaws in our makeup it drives me insane (literally i suppose)I suffered trauma as a kid and it's still with me and I'm over fifty now, people seem to think yiu can just get past it but it has become something that shaped me into who I am, it took away vital things from me and I can never get them back.
