I can't say I failed when I was testing out my new Mr. Heater Buddy because I was only checking to see if the thing worked.

The reason I can't say it was a failure because I stumbled on this accidentally. It runs on propane, and when I started it up in my living room and left it run, about 15 minutes later I started getting lightheaded and nauseated, and about to pass out. At first I didn't know what was going on, then I realized it was from the CO from the heater. For a small contraption, the thing puts off an enormous amount of CO.

You can use this both, inside and out. And of course they instructions indicate using in a well ventilated area.

Is it more likely to fail with Chemical Mixing CO or Charcoal CO?

Empty Smile might have created the perfect set up. A couple Mr Heater Big Buddy's ( 18,000 BTU ) and working in an enclosed garage. Of course, I will make the Darwin Awards, but it looks like accident as I work away on my table saw....

Forget it. Chemicals are too hard to obtain anyway. Can't be ordered online and when you probably email they'll ask too many damn nosy questions which is probably the reason why they do that. Damn.

That's what I figured. Less hassle and less mess with waiting for the charcoal to be ready.

Make sure you leave your table saw running so it looks like you dropped while working!
