My SN is due to arrive by the end of this week. In this case I will probably CTB over the weekend/next week.

I'm thinking of a suitable location. For some context, I live with my parents in London. Last time my dad found me after I made a racket falling off my bed - I will not traumatise my parents like that again, and not risk being 'saved'.

I don't want to spend what little money (will be transferring everything to my dad) I have on a hotel room, so can only think of walking to a nearby park in the evening/night. I'll bring some blankets to make my resting place more comfortable, SN, water, and a drinking cup.

I hate the thought of traumatising any jogger/dog walker though. Does anyone have any ideas? What are the pros/cons to a hotel, and should I splurge on booking a room?

I wouldn't attempt in a park/public place. Not only bc it could traumatize someone passing by but more so bc of the risk of being found too early. That depends ofc how frequented the parks are at night but there's a higher risk compared to a hotel room. Hotel staff is probably trained how to deal with suicides, I wouldn't be too worried about that. Someone will find you this is inevitable.
