What's the most unusual method of CTB you've seen spoken about?

If other people are anything to go by, I seem to be attached to starving. If we are to call it that and not an unconscious method brought about by a lack of motivation, it would be considered my most common means of attempting it. Eating is replaced by thinking over the course of long periods. Thinking and thinking and thinking. Is one of these thoughts whether I should do it? Yes. And the angel on my shoulder simply didn't care. What it looks like to an outsider ranges; either it's me going about myself, me resting in place, or me trying to go about myself but giving away the signs.

Another "method" associated with me is, you might say, death by SWAT. You know those people on TV who engage in suicide by cop by trying to aggravate the cops into shooting them? Picture this, except from the point of view of a woman who has attracted enough ire (for various, often trivial reasons) to receive the occasional "I'm going to swat you" type of remark. It seems to be the interpersonal equivalent of one nation dropping a nuke on another nation. Someone a few weeks ago said someone was planning to do this shortly after the new year, and I was like "well, no better time to get ready to go out with flair and a statement if I so pleased".

Strangest I've seen was a video of a prisoner jumping from his bunk-bed and attempting to land head first in his toilet bowl to snap his neck. Didn't work, ended up paralyzing himself. Apparently this is so common in prisons that it's nicknamed "Swan Diving"/

What's the stupidest unorthodox way you have tried to CTB?

Is there a way that you've tried to CTB that, in hindsight, seemed stupid, unique, or just weird? For me, I took over a gram of DPH (Benadryl). It was extremely traumatizing and painful. I was in full delirium, it's possible I had a seizure but I do not know. The next few days after this...

Rattlesnake envenomation. For a while I was attached to this method despite knowing it will be gruesome, long, and very painful. I wanted it to look like a hiking accident, so that way my family and friends were less sad. Now I'm appalled by this method and wouldn't even consider it or other similar ways.

When I was in a SAIP unit a girl swallowed a ton of ink cartridges and plastic bits from crayola markers as an attempt and actually almost succeeded because they caused an impaction and required emergency surgery. She did it in secret so no one knew till she was very ill.

I also tried to attempt by swallowing a ton of glass. I was in treatment so options were limited. I got the glass by ripping out and smashing the overhead lights and swallowing both the glass from the cover and the bulb. I also cut my arms pretty badly. This led to a hospital stay for stitches and to shit out all the glass. I was given meds to make me poop and had to do it over a strainer. The nurse then would come and sift through it to count the glass shards to make sure I shit all of them out. I was pooping every 15 minutes or so and the nurse was PISSED. 10/10 would never do that again, it's was so awful and the meds made my shit smell like seaweed and I wasn't allowed to eat until all the glass passed

"The only successful suicide on the psych floor at my hospital happened with a plastic spoon. Patient managed to cut off the rounded part, inhale the handle into his trachea, then charged at a giant dude with anger issues.

Big guy body slammed the suicidal guy onto the floor. The plastic spoon handle punctured his lung, he started coughing up blood, and went unconscious. CPR was initiated but they didn't get him back. Compressions probably tore up his spoon handle lung even more tbh."

There was a man that put a rope that was tied to a tree around his neck and accelerated his car. It sounds crazy but there was aftermath pictures too.

Watching gore sites i once saw pictures of a man who build a complex machine attached to a chainsaw in order to get decapitated, other time i saw a video of a man jumping from the top of an apartment in the fall his head was cut off clean by metal wires don't know if that was planned

I had a relative that drank battery acid from a car battery. He succeeded to ctb but it was a truly horrific death. The acid just ate him up from the inside
