after a few dismal months of being very active here, i'm back after having been gone just over a year and a half...curious if there were any "big events" in that span of time. i guess i could just check the forum announcements etc., but something about asking folks feels nicer. (i'll probably look anyway, but still curious about word-of-mouth knowledge).

FC got banned and the whole forum was divided over whether or not she should be allowed back (but after a month she was on the condition that she kept her vents constrained to a single thread). I feel like that's the biggest thing that's happened in the past year.

Certain intraforum strife that you were familiar with raged for months and months after you were gone but I believe that that has been squared away as a closed chapter unless you want to complain

It's nice to 'see' you back although, that always sounds a bit weird saying that. I doubt it's good for the person if they're back here so, I'm sorry at the same time. Sorry for you, pleased for us I guess.

There's a new more 'Private' section to the main forum. That's all I can think of- asides from what everyone else has already said.
