Usually they ask id when you want to first time load money in your wallet this to make sure ppl don't use for fraud and later they get chargeback from credit card company

I use coinbase snd proof of id sent my driver's license and it's one time thing to verify

Yes they'll need the usual sort of identification, photo ID for you and then a utility bill or something similar.

No once you have the bitcoin it is yours and you don't need to deal with ID again, just transfer it to the address you've been given, then wait for a set number of verifications (30? I can't remember with bitcoin) and it has gone through :)

One word of caution though, check the laws/sentiment in your country before you try to move money into Coinbase. In the UK then lots of banks refuse to deal with anything related to Cryptocurrency and as such block your transactions and/or even shut your account down for trying. I had to use an intermediary of Revolut (an online bank account service) to transfer the money to them, then onto Coinbase.

I'm not saying you need that intermediary account, it depends on your location and if the rules have changed, but it is worth at least checking with your bank that they are ok with it before you try.
