What facts or things do you find impossible to get your head round? To accept?

For me it's a few things.

Consciousness, how was my soul plucked specifically to make ME experience what I am?

The universe. Either it is finite with a boundary and nothing at all after, or it is infinite. Both possibilities seem obsurd

People would rather suffer under the tyranny of a person they are sexually or socially attracted to than to flourish under the rule of a great person they aren't sexually or socially attracted to,

You don't need to fuck them. No one needs to fuck them. You don't need to be friends with them. No one needs to be friends with them. Only their decisions and actions matter. They could be a half eaten worm living in a trashcan, but as long as they rule well, I don't give a shit.

On a very woe is me note: Why I keep getting rejected as a human being over and over again. No one has given me a clear reason yet and I am so tired of it.

On a less self pitying note:
Life as a conscious being. Was that really necessary? Was a creature that understands its own mortality and has a frontal lobe really evolutionary necessary? If there is a god, what does that accomplish, having meat sacks that can understand their suffering and are actively unable to help themselves?

How so many people seem to just be completely fine with spending the majority of their lives working a 9-to-5. It seriously feels like most people never question it and just go with the flow. Maybe I'm completely wrong. I feel constant existential dread over this sort of stuff.

Ineffable. I didn't get it, because I didn't even know I didn't know it, and it turns out I can't know it. The arrogance of youth covered up my ignorance, and age brought all that down, so the vastness of my incomprehension became painfully visible. The breakdown of my incorrect preconceived notions led to an intellectual meltdown and spiritual despair.
And then someone started a post about it and I realized I'm not alone, merely one among billions of limited, but growing, human beings.
The 2014 film "Lucy" really expanded my awareness of how little we know, understand, and use.
Blew my mind.
