Also, is there a way to increase the chance of never waking up?

That is what I want the most, to die in my sleep. It probably wouldn't happen unless you were really old or you took some SN or some substance.

The odds are negligible unless someone is in extremely poor health.
Also, is there a way to increase the chance of never waking up?
Worsening the health, either by lifestyle choices or simply by aging.

I can say praying a lot won't help you not to wake up. I'm speaking based on my experience. I prayed a lot not to wake up and I never got luck to meet death. I wish someone had an answer for your question.

Do you have sleep apnea? Do you have heart issues? Do you dream of clowns or a burnt man with claws? Do you live on Elm St.?

Your health history determines if you're able to die in your sleep though as you get older the chances increase.

The odds to go to sleep and never wake up - forget about it. A young and healthy person does not usually die of cardiac arrest. Many terminally ill people die in their sleep, but only after a long-term illness.

unfortunately, with our "luck" its possible only in case someone just kill us while we sleep.
about praying: if gods/aliens/higher intelligence exist at all, they are exploiters, they are psychopaths, they'll never help us to die

My Mum's best friend died in her sleep years ago. There was nothing wrong with her, she just want to sleep and never woke up.

I wish for that every night. But I'm so unlucky. That will never happen to me.

I know praying a lot won't help but it makes me feel better about going to sleep. Wishful thinking. I wish we could just will our bodies to die when we want to. But yeah if you're young and healthy it's very very unlikely you'll die in your sleep.
