On the sites I usually visit I got called the n word a few times. Also dumb, ugly racist and a bunch of other personal attacks. All today.

Just don't reveal anything regarding your identity on sites and don't take stuff personally. Best way to go about it imo
The thing is I've been on the same website with the same people for around 10 years now. They know me, it doesn't matter if I make a new account or post under a different name they'll know it's me. And these people have a hive mind mentality, if anyone says something they don't agree with, they attack you. That's why I'm looking for a different forum website.
We all share personal details about ourselves. Some I consider friends, others not so much.
