(Warning Cringe) I wrote myself a "Prayer" since im Atheist to motivate myself and hope it can help other Atheists feel a bit better about life.

Atheist Prayer
God doesnt exist , which means life has no purpose.
Things are out of my control.

I didnt ask to be born so i shouldnt feel guilty.

All what happened in the passed cannot be changed or controlled no matter how much i think about it.

Overthinking cannot change things, i cannot will things to change .
the 3 key words:

"is this useful"

I cannot control the future, i cannot control what other people think i cannot change what happened.

If i was wounded physically i wouldnt dig a hole deeper, so why am i digging my mental holes deeper.

i can only control my own actions and attitude.

i will try to find some pleasure in life for my remaining days.

i will be dead wheter in a few years or 40 years.

once im dead i will have no recollection of anything, no thought again.
death is the great eraser.

so why worry.

worry and suffer twice.

I can still be strong, wise , confident and a great lover.

People are just people , they are just like me, why worry what they think... they poop. eat. sleep and will die too.

Its all just smoke and mirrors.

Once its over its over, try and make the best of this accidental journey to nonexistence.
