Yeah, I called this "Passive Suicide", where you don't CTB directly, but just stop caring and making it easier for CTB to be the "only option"
I didn't watch the video, may watch later, but if that's what the video talks about...I have more than a passing knowledge of it...I'm doing it every day.
But you make every day just a little more "bearable"

Honestly,
Im not in recovery and I dont exactly know if this belongs in this section.. but I remember watching this video awhile back and thought it might be interesting for some people here. I think men would especially enjoy this. The channel is mainly focused on mental health issues related to those who struggle with to technology and gaming as well. The video is long I think 2 hours so just a little fyi.
HealthyGamerGG - The "Slow Suic*de" Nobody Talks About
Honestly, personally I don't like these videos because sincerely IF you're going to CTB that's understandable... But to intentionally try to passively edge towards it more and more (almost with zero effort) just feels kind of 'odd' to me.
If you are capable of slowly guiding yourself to CTB ... Then isn't the same effort and slight augmentation of your perspective something you can do to actually recover?
Plus to be honest, you can literally override conscious survival instincts with self hypnosis,
Psycho suggestion, etc. So if you're leaning towards self destruction I think being passive towards it is just obtuse.
Plus I mean, you could hypothetically even find a sensory decompression chamber and make years of mental progress towards CTB or recovery in moments... Or you know, you could drown ...
just saying.
