tw: self harm, how to not get caught self harming when you live with you family

ive been clean from sh for over a year now i think, but lately i feel like im going mad, partly bcs of my situasions and the fact that i dont drink my full medications now cus they makes my appearence much much more worse than it already is (like gaining wight, hyperpigmentation and stuff) which contributed to my ed and body dysmorphia.
i wanted to sh again to relieve my stress cus it works before (especially if i see the scars) but the problem is, i live with my mom and sister and i have little to no privacy since we all share the same bed cus my mom wont let me sleep on the other room.
the question is, how can i still sh secretly but at the same time not worrying about lasting scars? i tried sh on my thighs but its not as satisfying when i did it on my wrist, any advice?

Thats reason why I dont do self harming, but there is temptation. I wanna go the gym, I wanna swim, but if I do self harm. Everyone will see those wounds.

Also, there are certain risks with self harm. There is always chance you might catch sepsis (also known as blood poisoning) it is one of the worst ways to die.

i know that, but its either that or i will likely be put in a mental hospital again bcs of my condition

I recently bought sharp forest knife....there is temptation, I have been feeling like I wanna slice my throat or wrists open. But, I am coward when it comes to pain. So that wont happen.

I wouldn't really advice on cutting in visible places because when i did i had to act like a ninja around my parents rotating my arm and stuff or just keeping my hand in my pocket so they don't see. But i don't think there's much you can do other than long sleeves.

yeaa my mom would definitely suspect me if im wearing a long shirt, cus all i did all this time is just wearing a bra since its super hot in here plus, i have a bad sensory issues with clothes no matter the fabric

Needles, blunt objects, inside the mouth, underneath underwear…works for me and I have nosy family members. But please,whatever it is you do keep it sanitary! If you want more specifics message me, I'd rather not go into detail here.

Wherever they wont be seen easily, I do thighs and hips, upper arm (where it can be hidden with short sleeves) or shoulders. Also, I relate to thighs not being as satisfying lol. I miss being able to cut on my wrists, but getting caught is too much suffering.

i do blunt objects now, i might not be too "satisfied" cus i can't really see the blood but it works, thank you. and i promise to keep it sanitary!

tried all the other places where it wont be easy to spot, didn't work lol but i found out that my family doesn't care that much lmao, i started cutting on my wrist again even though with blunt objects, the marks is still there (yes, even though there's no blood) as long as im alive i guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
