Recently came across this compound called dimethyl mercury, where even with doses as little as say 0.1 ml is enough to get you to reach the full stop. I looked around and I can procure a decent quantity for myself, but I do have a few questions.

First, can someone confirm the efficacy of the compound?
Second, can someone help me figure out where I can get it at a cheaper rate? All the sources I could find have quoted a price of $100-150.
Third, if someone can suggest a different compound which in a low enough dose, and cheaply can help me achieve what I want to, I am also open to that.

My criteria is simple, I want it to be painless, accessible and without any mess.

Would really appreciate if people on here could help me out!!

Did a quick research paper search and couldn't find much on confirmed toxicity in humans. However, it is very present in seawater, so if worse comes to a worse, just go get a couple gallons of ocean water. 😆

I work in a chemical plant and I think we just got a memo going around a couple weeks ago about this stuff. If your department has to use it, you immediately get put on a watch list with the higher ups. That right there tells me it is pretty nasty stuff, which is good news for you, I guess.

Isn't it a controlled substance at your location? It requires very careful handling, and you can easily injure or kill other people with it.

It looks like you can reliably CTB with this substance, but it may take quite a while (maybe days or weeks), and I wouldn't expect painless transition. It seems, there is no much information on what symptoms of acute poisoning from high doses of dimethylmercury could be, so I can only guess. There is a similar organic mercury-containing compound, methylmercury, which was responsible for so called Minamata disease. Remarkable effects from it were observed in cats:

The most shocking of all incidents was the frenzied death of cats. Cats suffered from excessive salivation and manifested general convulsions or violent rotational movements, were unable to walk straight, and often collapsed dead. Many jumped into the sea to drown, and eventually cats were no longer seen in the area.
