I've recently had most methods of ctb taken away from me, but I found 2300mg of trazadone and alcohol.

I've tried searching the lethality of this, and it seems fairly low, but it's all I've got. So I just want to know a good dosage you all think might work, and possible side effects/likelihood of severe brain damage.

Thanks!

EDIT: 2900mg, I found some more. And like 200mg of gabapentin.

The closest I could find to an LD50 was this:

LD50=96mg/kg (i.v. in mice)

If that were to apply to a human - a 160 pound person would need ~7,000mg to OD.

I'm probably a bit off but it doesn't seem like 2300mg would do the trick.

edit: according to one site - if you do manage to OD and enough time has passed, death might be certain.

At the hospital, victims can expect mostly preventative and symptom-specific care. There is no antidote for a Trazodone overdose — time is the greatest cure for such an overdose. Physicians may choose to administer intubation to promote proper breathing or a dose of activated charcoal to decontaminate the patient's stomach contents. Nearly all Trazodone overdoses are manageable with immediate treatment efforts.

edit2: it doesn't seem like Gabapentin is easy to OD on.

Despite the well-known withdrawal side effects, it's difficult to overdose on gabapentin. Studies have shown that even at very high levels of ingestion people have only suffered mild to moderate physical and mental side effects that are rarely life threatening. So far there has been only one report of death from gabapentin toxicity (related to gabapentin overdose).

I tried to OD with this many years ago and ended up vomiting. But just prior to that my heart was racing out of my chest. They still did the charcoal thing, but I was fine after and was released that same night.
