Do you guys ever feel like you can point to a certain moment where you felt like that was a big pivot in why you feel the way you do right now?

For me it was never having romantic attention when all my friends did:

It affected my confidence
It affected my friendships and ability to make new one's
It gave me a lot of shame
Those things also affected how well I was mirrored back
Or taking risks or actually being myself

I still believe that, that moment where it was clear to me everyone got picked and I never was. Literally caused all this.

Yup. Several times. First happened when I was 14 and my mother said I was burden. Second happened a couple of weeks ago when I had a massive mental breakdown and suddenly became increasingly aware of my mortality and how little I have accomplished — people my age are fucking and graduating and I'm barely holding it tgt.
